District 8, By The Numbers

Every day, MPS educates more than 11,600 students across District 8.

District 8 is home to 23 schools, including:

• 3 high schools, with nearly 2,600 students;
• 2 middle schools, with more than 900 students;
• 19 elementary schools, with more than 8,000 students;
• 5 charter schools with more than 1,900 students. 4 are instrumentality
  charter schools, 1 is non-instrumentality.
